Jr. Champion Gelding at The N.E. Regional!
Schengrund Stables had two entries in the 69th Annual New England Regional Horse Show. This show is always a favorite not only to attend but also to test your stock’s talent against some deep competition from across the country. SSLLC’s two year olds rose to the occasion with wonderful performances, surviving the traditional New England wet weather!
First up was the elegant and exotic SSLLC Prime Time. This gelding, by the famous Liberation First Star and out of an HVK Bell Flaire daughter, Brio Bell Martell made heads turn as he entered the 2 and Under Gelding In Hand class. Waving his legs and flagging his tail, Prime Time took home first place out of eight entries! Prime Time then turned around to win the Jr. Champion Gelding honors!
The second of the Schengrund Stable’s entries, SSLLC Primary Contender (HVK Man About Town x Futurity’s Touch of Harley) made a bold showing in the 2 Yr Old Pleasure Driving class. Against nine horses, this showy gelding took home 4th place! A job well done at his only his second show!
