This year’s foal crop is not one to bat an eye at! We crossed our mares with tried and true stallions that are known for the quality progeny they produce. We had a total of 5 foals born on the farm, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for each of them. The foaling season started off in early February, with SLLC Material Girl “Venus”, a bay filly by Cool Whip out of Indian Creek Sahara. We had two foals born in March, both colts. First up is SSLLC Supernova “Crush” black and handsome with some striking white markings, this guy is by Cherrydale Casanova out of Meadowsong Cameo. Our second March baby was another colt, SSLLC Strait Up “Duncan”, bay and just as handsome, he is also by Cherrydale Casanova and out of AW Interstellar. The last colt of the year came in April, SSLLC Genesis “Jack” is bay and he is very cool! We are already excited about this colt by BKC Valiant Star out of SSLLC She’s Got Legs. The final foal of the 2023 foaling season came in May, she is SSLLC Pardon my French “Dolly”. A pretty bay filly by Jus’ Sayin out of AW Je Veux Ton Amour.
